Pool Leak #227887

Found leak in skimmer throat where the plastic skimmer butts up to the cement pool shell. Area had been previously epoxied and the deterioration is now severe and over a quarter inch wide in some areas. Tried to Patch with epoxy but patch kept pulling into the gap. I do not expect this to hold. Expect minimal water loss until repairs are completed. Recommend skimmer throat rebuild. Using surface to replace the inner tiles as we will not be able to match the current tiles and using surface is the better repair.

Surface is showing signs of deterioration.

Unable to determine if the light is working. The light switch was either not found or inaccessible.

Pressure tested all lines.  All lines appear to be holding solid.

Performed a complete dye test in the pool.
